Subject: (Should people who do not speak English be granted (given) Australian citizenship?)
I will say, people who do not speak English should be granted Australian citizenship.
Australia welcomes all world's people come to travel and join, it is Australia's policy.
Australia has plenty of natrual resources, which attract people to immigrant, attract companies to invest. People who is able to contribute to Australian economy,cultrue,politician and other parts should not be rejected just because of cannot speak English. (Non-English speaking people who has specific talent in different area)
If the country refuses these talented people as a reason of they don't speak English, that may make Australia lose lots of talented people which may result in it's economy, technology and GDP all parts of the country, and it's obey the country's policy.

I belive that money readlly does talk. Throughout the history, reasons why wars fought time to time, is because of money! The Irap and Iran war fought 8 years, nobody wons, but America. America wanted to control the price of oil to make the oil price increase so that to ensure US dollars dominant power in earth ,that's why Irap and Iran was both supported by America and trapped in an endless war.
Money cannot talk by itself, but sometimes, speechless does not mean cannot talk.
We've experienced or viewed the crural battle of money, ' financial crisis', hundreds of millions of factories, private companies, banks are broken. Millions of people lose their jobs and homes. It's a financial world war.

I believe English is political, one language becomes dominant is mainly because of it's economic, military, cultrual power, However, to say a dominant language will getting powerful and stronger as more and more people going to speak or evaluated by itself is unacceptable. In history, Spanish was once a dominant power in 16th-17th century, it had colonies all over the world, but Spanish did not maintian it's world language because its military loss. So, the most important point is the power of the dominant country. How long can the dominant country's language last is depend on it's power. It is not an inevitable trend.

Strategists(Week4)
I have to say, the reading exam and wrting exam I feel challenging!
My weak point is wrting.
So, in the last week, I'll spend more time on my critical response essay and two critical article's reading
Because the two reading passages are the same article with wrting, that means, If I cannot catch the point in reading comprehension, I may probably fail in writing.
To make sure ' one rock with two birds' I'm gonna exercies the wiki space's 4 reading exercise, make sure I have plenty of preparetions for the coming exam. Every two criticle articles I'll spend 30 minutes each on reading and finishing questions, then I'll spend 30minutes compare the two articles, imagine the structure of response essay.
Another important part is oral presentation, well, I like doing presentation. So, under preparations, I believe that I can handle this and get a high mark.

Reflections(Week3)
I have to say the most thing I've done on the third week is writing!!!!!!!!!!
Almost everyday, we have inclass writing exercies, to improve our critical response skill, and every nights' homework are related to this.
Guess my critical respons skills are promoted, but I still have to say, my grammer, always feel tough to deal with!!!
I'm getting used to looking for author's argument and argue on this.
On the end of week 3, the most challenging stuff is coming!!! Comaring to articels and write criticle response
I'm gonna do more exercies on it, find the weak point, language, tongue..................

Reflections(Week2)
Week 2 is much hard and busy than the first ones.
Timetable still not changed, get up at 7:00am, have lunch at 10:30am, thanks god!!!
I'm a bit tired of this lifstyle, class ended early and I feel tired and have no passion to do anything.
Hope the third week I can cheer up, be energetic.
Well, now let's talk about the study effects.
My speaking promotes a bit, coz we talk in English all the time.
I spent lots of time with friends, some of them are not Chinese, so we always speak in English. Although theres some meaning or word hard to say in English, it's all right.
At least I feel like the barrier of communication is getting weaker, maybe sometime later, the barrier will disappear!
I practiced listening this week coz after this Tuesday's listening exercise, i realize i need more progress on listening. Wiki's Ted is still difficult for me, I have to listen at least 3 times to catch the most information.
I'll try harder, maybe 2 times to handle it out!
Tomorrow will be a writing test, it's my weak part, best wishes for tomorrow's exam

Strategists (WeeK2）
Today, I'm gonna say sth about these days' happy things and strategists on week2.
Monday, Grace,April,Tracy,Agus,Andy,Anthony and i we had hotpot together, it's really delicious. We all eat a lot, Agus is not that kind of good at eating as i think, he just eat not too that much. Well, guess it's our first party, he's shy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAhahahahahaaaaa
My strategists will focus on my writing skills, especially ctritical response to an article.
This week,. we've been tried over 5 articles and did critical thinking and responses to these articles.
I feel that I need to spend more time on my conclusion and sentence structure.
I'm gonna read more these articles in wiki and RMIT website's articles to do criticle thinking. why author/reporter write/criticized this article? what's his purpose? Is there any bias?...................
We did another listening test on Thursday, i feel like it's harder than last week's, so i have to doing listening exercise on Wiki, Ted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The second week is much harder and challenging than the beginning, but I'm gonna kick it ass and fight to the end

Reflections (Week1)
- In my frist week's study, I've already caught up the pace of study, everyday can spent over 2 hours study besides school time, that's the most important improvement.
- I learned and controlled 36 English words.
- I started to write blogs in English, that's awesome! Although sometimes it's hard to express in English, it's still fine, I'm enjoyed it.
- My reading skills has been promoted on the comprehension part, especially critical articles. The ways of analysis the auther's point is really helpful and helps us to understand.
- This week, I talked a lot of English, many classmates are from different countries, I'm trying my best to express what I want to say in English.
- I did several listening exercies besides class, it's BBC‘s news, guess my listening ability got a little bit promoted.

Goals and Strategists (Week 1)
Goals
For the first week of study, we e did two critical reading articles, one listening exercise and one speeking communication. In comparation, my reading comprehension ablity needs more improvement.
My first week's goal is to improve my reading comprehension ability and listening skills. My reading skills needs to be able to understand the most meaning of the article and the writer's idea, finding out writer's supporting points and bias and what purpose he wants to achieve through his article. At the same times, I have to have my personal opinion whether to agree or disagree with writer's and prove it. My reading speed needs to getting fast.
In listening stuff, I need to improve my information gathering ability and writing speed and can seperate my mind to both writing the first answer and listening to the next information of the tape.
Strategists
In reading period, I've borrowed 2 books from city library. These are both English books about Architecture. Because of my subject in university, I want to both improve my comprehension and my architectic knowledge. I'll construct the coming informaion into pictures in my mind to help me understanding. Each chapters has over thousands of words, some easy paragragh which can read a bit fast, probably after several sentences can make me understand the whole pargragh, so that I can spend less time in easy part for more time in difficult parts.
In listening period, I've been listening English songs everyday and always practising singing it. This is a permanently way of inproving listening skills. (and watching English movies with English captions)In short times, I'll listening recent BBC news, normally these news are in appropriate speed and have standard pronounciation. Around half and hour each day for listening news, which can help me both knowing news everyday and improve listening skills.
That's all about this week's goals and strategists, well, theres a lot of place to improve English. English is almost everywhere, besieds the listed strategists, I may catch any chance to improve English.

My Learning Style(First day of study)
Today is January the 4th 2011, it is my first English studying class in RMIT.
I enjoyed today's lessons. James, our teacher, a humorous and handsome gentleman. I felt relaxed and excited from beginning to the end. Times are always limited, first day's lessons left me nice impression.
At the end of today's study, we discussed when learning a new vocabulary, how to use it easily and correctly, so as to make a fully understanding of the word. We also shared our learning styles.
We got three different learning sytles, these are visual learner, auditory learner, kinaesthetic learner.
I am a visual learner. Actually my kinaesthesis scores was a bit higher than view out of the 30 questions.
At the most time of learning, I realized that I am a visual learner, because I am doing more visual stuff than kinaeshesis. As a result, in my daily life, I like watching movies, especially crimes, wars,suspenses, which requires a lot more view and thinking than kinaesthesis.
In some ways, our learning style is determined by personalities. People who likes to do sports are usually kind of kinaesthetic, people who likes reading books watching movies are usually visual learner as well as people who likes listening to music are auditory learner.
Learning style is very important to our study while a suitable learning style may promote our study efficiency.
The three learning styles, each of them has their priority which depends on the ways you may behave and harder enough you worked.
I believe that my visual learning style may help me in my studies and I will keep this good style while doing other things.
